         This Halloween I decided to turn up the heat a bit & tried my hand at making my own prosthetic as opposed to buying one. I was able to achieve this by applying multiple layers of toilet paper, unrolled cotton balls, & lots of latex until I got the desired texture I was looking for. After everything dried, I used a heavy-set foundation and face powder to set the prosthetic. Then I used both fresh & scab blood to create a gruesome bleeding & scarred over effect in the openings of the prosthetic. Once all the special effects products were in place, I used my everyday makeup products to produce a “beauty” look on the other side of my face for added contrast.
